PROCESS: a series of actions or steps taken in order to achieve a particular end (or present). art, people, relationships, colors, and worlds don't just happen. they are built through a series of made decisions, circumstance, imagination, faith and craft. this year, we are asking participating artists to consider revealing a bit of their process as artists and as queer people of color. how did you get here? what steps did it take? are there things you are covering up? manipulating? undoing? accepting? how are you documenting growth?
PROCESS, a curated upcoming queer art exhibition takes place Sunday, June 9th at Agora Gallery, 530 W 25th St, New York, NY 10001 presented by Mobilizing Our Brothers Initiative (MOBI) during this year’s MOBIfest. MOBIfest is a citywide interactive wellness festival that celebrates Black queer voices of color in fashion, music, visual arts and media.
