Brooklyn raised Juan Veloz is a Self-taught photographer, newly based in LA.
“I started photography to express whatever was going on in my mind. It was an outlet for me because I felt like I was always artistic but I never knew how to express it until I picked up a camera. Being a self-taught photographer in NYC, I managed to go through a year or two of trial and error. Within those years I was able to find what exactly I wanted to shoot and somehow find my signature. Fast forward to 7 years I've worked with different publications, entertainment outlets, music artists, models, international companies. I based my entire career on collaboration- there is nothing better than succeeding with a team. Showing the world little by little that this Dominican kid from Brooklyn NY has huge dreams, and it all started a small dream and tons of hard work.”
