Named after self-described “Black, lesbian, mother, warrior, poet," Audre Lorde, The Audre Lorde Project is a lesbian, gay, bisexual, two-spirit, trans, and gender-nonconforming people of color center for community organizing. Based in the New York area, they work for community wellness and social and economic justice through mobilization, education, and capacity-building.
